PROGRAMME DIRECTOR (f/m/d)

for the Bachelor's degree programme Human Resource Management & Communication (20 hours per week)

The International Private University College Bad Vöslau (IUC) is looking to fill a vacancy for the programme director of the Human Resource Management & Communication degree programme from July 2025. The focus is on the academic education and professionalisation of people who want to work and research in the field of HR. The Private University College Bad Vöslau plans to offer the consecutive degree programmes Human Resource Management & Communication (BA) and Human Resources & Leadership (MA).

Your tasks as head of degree programme

  • Establishment and preparation of the first implementation of the study programme
  • Management of the degree programme
  • Organisation of teaching and research within the degree programme
  • Teaching and research activities in the department in question
  • Participation in the quality management steering group and responsibility for the implementation of quality assurance measures in teaching and research
  • Ensuring compliance with the accreditation criteria and participation in further accreditation processes
  • Strategic positioning of the degree programme, support in the development of a content marketing strategy, targeted and strategic development of new networks as well as specialist student counselling in the context of information events and counselling sessions
  • Supervision of scientific theses
  • Collaboration and committee work in the development and expansion of the Bad Vöslau private university college
  • Communication and networking with the scientific community, the field of practice and the public

The weighting of your field of activity is as follows:

 

  • Year 1: 30% teaching / 20% research / 50% administrative tasks
  • From year 2: 40% teaching / 30% research / 30% administrative tasks

Your qualification

  • Completed relevant university degree (doctorate or comparable)
  • Habilitation or equivalent qualification in the respective subject area
  • Several years of professional experience and teaching experience in the field of Human Resources Management and Business Administration or in comparable fields
  • Excellent written and spoken English – Level C1 (company language)
  • Very good written and spoken German skills desirable
  • Knowledge/experience in the field of communication sciences desirable
  • Didactic aptitude and teaching experience in higher education, in particular using current and innovative higher education didactic concepts

Personal involvement in the relevant national and international scientific community desirable

The minimum salary for this position is € 5,000 gross/month (based on 40 hours per week/14 times per year), overpayment is possible taking into account your previous professional experience and is based on the salary scheme of the private university college. 

Scope of employment: part-time, 20 hours, possibility of increasing the number of hours

Time limit: unlimited
